Over the Summer we are looking to expand our Racketball activities which has started with the introduction of the Squash and Racketball Academy for juniors being run by Billy Stevely. For more details please contact Billy on 07763602415 or billystevely@hotmail.com. We have also entered two teams in the inaugural West Racketball league captained by Scott Morton and Fred Laing. Additional activities planned are Racketball leagues to run over the Summer period, the first leagues will go up on Friday 13 May.
The leagues will culminate in the Racketball championships which will be held on Saturday 3 September with the winner taking the prestigious Big Peat Perspex Block, which may be cheap to look at but was expensive to produce according to our sponsor Fred Laing. The winner also gets a bottle of Big Peat if he/she is of a legal age to consume it. So please put the date in your diary more details will follow closer to the time. We are also planning a starter taster session run by Bill Stevely if we have enough interest or feel free to come down the club from 4pm most Saturdays which is the officially designated Racketball club night.
