Curling at Whitecraigs
The Curling section, which has over 30 members and reserves, is a member of The Royal Caledonian Curling Club and Glasgow Province, and plays its matches at Braehead Ice Rink in Glasgow.
It has two internal competitions organised during the season from September to March and plays a number of friendly matches against other local clubs. To begin and end the season the club members play in a club bonspiel and towards the end of the season a ‘pairs and points’ competition is organised.
Since joining Glasgow Province in 2009 the club has entered a number of Province competitions with some success in its first year.
A highlight of the season is the annual weekend competition at The North West Castle Hotel in Stranraer. In 2010 the club entered five rinks in the competition and the rink skipped by Drew Fulton reached the final. 25 curlers and spouses attended the weekend and had a great time. The hotel has superb facilities and provides tremendous food throughout the weekend.
New members to the club are made very welcome whether you are a beginner or an experienced curler. Coaching is available for beginners and practice ice is also arranged.

THE GYM 
Chi FIT Gymnasium & Personal Training
Fully refurbished gymnasium in 2011 which has some superb and unique training kit is owned and operated by Chi FIT Personal Training.
Our 2 resident personal trainers from Chi FIT will devise a programme which is tailored to your specific fitness requirements.
Offering Vibration Plate training and the ultimate cardio workout on the "Biggest Loser" Jacobs Ladder you will have no reason not to be fit.
Fitness classes are also available for:
Spinning and Vibration plate classes.

Bar and Clubhouse
With the main lounge bar, our members are well looked after whether its coffee and cake, a snack, lunch (Saturdays and Sundays) or an evening meal (Friday evenings) you will be well catered for.
Our function suite is also available for members to hire for their special occasion.

This is a relatively new sport which has been endorsed by Squash England/Scotland.
Try it out for yourself - hire rackets and ball from the pro shop.
Played on a squash court with similar rules. It is slightly easier on the body than squash.
